The Charlotte Museum of History is a local history museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is actually a historic complex featuring the historic 1774 Hezekiah Alexander Homesite, which is the oldest existing home in Mecklenburg County.

The Hezekia Alexander Homesite alone is historic enough to warrant visitors and tours. However, to maximize the area’s full potential, the Charlotte Museum of History was situated near it. The museum features thousands of artifacts, chronicling the colorful past of the region. It tackles the events in the area from the 18th to 20th centuries through displays and exhibits. It is said that their artifact collection comes up to about 15,000 pieces.
