The Cherokee Heritage Museum and Gallery is a local history museum and art gallery in Cherokee, North Carolina. It is focused on the history and heritage of the Cherokee people.

The Cherokee Heritage Museum and Gallery mostly interprets the group‘s legends, history, and culture through the art works created by living Cherokee artisans. There are more than 1000 objects on display in the site today, most of which are accompanied by an audio narration. They also offer lectures, consultation services, and traveling exhibits.

The Cherokee Heritage Museum and Gallery is home to the world’s largest collection of contemporary Cherokee art works and crafts pieces. They feature paintings, prints, pottery, beadwork, sculptures, weaponry, tools, masks, and dolls just to name a few.
