The Cherryville Historical Museum is a local history museum in Cherryville, North Carolina. It was established by the independent organization, the Cherryville & Area Historical Society.
Housed in the historic 1991 Fire Department building that has also served as a city hall, police station, courtroom and jail at various times, the Cherryville Historical Museum is truly filled with local history inside and out. It features collections of artifacts related to various fields, like medical equipment, photographs, fire trucks, old school, business, and city records, farm equipment, and a couple of art works. They also have a library that is filled with locally written books, genealogy, and other research material.
The Cherryville Historical Museum can be accessed regularly without any need for appointments.
