The Chicamacomico Life Saving Station is a historic site in Rodanthe, North Carolina. It is best noted as the first US Lifesaving Station in the state of NC to be ever built and manned in 1874.

The Chicamacomico Life Saving Station is actually a restored historic complex composed of seven buildings. It features the original station that was once converted into a boathouse when a new structure was completed in 1911 and then restored to its original look in commemoration of the site?s rich history.
