The Cowan Museum is a historical museum in Kenansville, North Carolina. It is housed in the historic Kelly-Farrior House, a National Register of Historic Places listed site that was built around the 1848 as a residential building.
The Cowan Museum boasts of a wide range of unique collections that tell of the colorful past and heritage of the Duplin County and the state of North Carolina altogether. It features the house, which serves as the main building and housing most of the artifacts that tell of the tale of the early rural America. There are also other structures on the site, like a log cabin, a one-room log schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, and a log tobacco barn. There are also cart wheels on the site.
