The Davenport Heritage Day is an annual event in Creswell, North Carolina. It is done in celebration of the area?s history and heritage.

Featuring the historic Davenport Homestead, the Davenport Heritage Day is basically a demonstration of the times past. It is filled with activities and events that show visitors of the old time ways. This is done partly as a means to share the local history to visitors and the younger generations. Folks can watch cow milking, hog killing, shingle making, cotton seeding, corn husking, quilting, weaving, molasses squeezing, and peanut popping among other things. There are also live music, food, storytelling, and dancing all throughout the day. Tours of the historic home is also available.

The Davenport Heritage Day takes place every first Saturday in June at the Davenport Homestead site.
