The Don Gibson Theatre is a performance venue in Shelby, North Carolina. It is also a memorial and a way to honor the well known singer/songwriter Don Gibson.

The Don Gibson Theatre is also rich in history. It is housed in what is formerly known as the State Theatre, an old movie house opened in 1939. The State, as it is fondly known by many, was a beautiful venue. It, however, faced the same fate as most other old playhouses in the country have in the past century. Luckily, a group of volunteers called the Destination Cleveland revived the site. It was reopened in 2009 as the Don Gibson Theatre.

This 400-seater theatre acts primarily as a concert hall. It brings in several famous acts and even Grammy Award winners.
