The Downtown Cinema Theatre is a vintage movie theatre in Mount Airy, North Carolina. It has been around for more than six decades already and is proud of their heritage of screening most of Hollywood?s legendary films.

The Downtown Cinema Theatre is a recently renovated, 540-seate theatre. It offers $3 movies for five nights a week. It is also famous for being the home of the country?s third longest-running live radio Bluegrass and Old-Time music show. Folks can come and see the shows for free, although moviegoers are charged a fee. They run movies from Wednesdays through Monday nights. They also screen Spanish movies on Tuesday evenings. Aside from this, they also host shows and events all throughout the year.
