The East Carolina Village of Yesteryear is a historic complex in Winterville, North Carolina. The site was created to depict the life in the Pitt County from 1840 to 1940.

The East Carolina Village of Yesteryear was created in 1979, originally in the Pitt County American Legion fairground. Two legion members, Connor Eagles and Les Turnage took the initiative of convincing farmers to donate their antique farm tools, artifacts, and even structures so the site could be completed.

Today, the East Carolina Village of Yesteryear presents history just as if you are a part of it. Visitors can enjoy the site filled with a country store, log church, old schoolhouse, artifacts, and farm machinery among other things that are from the past century.
