The Eastern Cabarrus Historic Museum is a local history museum located in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. It is housed in one of the remaining buildings of the historic Mt. Pleasant Collegiate Institute and is run by the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society.

The Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society was actually formed to save the historic Mt. Pleasant campus. They established the museum later on to present the history of the school along with local history through artifacts found in the area.

They also have displays depicting the early Native American life before the colonization took place, as well as local farming life and regional businesses.

The Eastern Cabarrus Historical Museum, also known as the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society Museum is open on the months of March through October every Sundays and Mondays.
