The Gaston County Museum of Art and History is a local art and history museum in Dallas, North Carolina. It was established in 975 as a cultural project of the Gaston County Bicentennial Commission and was later supported by the county government.

The Gaston County Museum of Art and History is quite an interesting place to visit, as it is composed of several historic structures. Like many other museums in the country, it is housed in these historic structures. Included in its structures are the 1852 Hoffman Hotel, the 1903 Carolina & Northwestern Train Depot, and the 1848 Gaston County Jail. Its initial collection is a series of 12 sleighs and carriages donated by the Belmont textile executive, Daniel J. Stowe.
