Also formally known as the Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park is the Gene Hooks Field that is in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is mostly a collegiate and former minor league basketball park and home to the Wake Forest University’s baseball team.

Known formerly as the Ernie Shore Field after the major league pitcher and Forsyth County Sheriff Ernie Shore, the Gene Hooks Field was renamed when the facility was transferred to Wake Forest University in 2006. It was named in honor of Gene Hooks, the former athletic director of the university.

The Gene Hooks Field is now fully controlled by the Wake Forest University, thus the formal name of Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Ball Park.
