Grandfather Mountain can be found on the Blue Ridge Mountains which separates North Carolina and Tennessee.

The mountain offers visitors an adventurous experience with breath taking views. On this site, visitors can enjoy spectacular scenery with endless vistas and amazing rock formations while driving to the crest. After a one mile elevation, the Mile High Swinging Bride will let passers enjoy an exciting and adventurous walk. The bridge was originally built in 1952 and was refurbished at the end of 1999. Now, it is made of hi-tech but low-maintenance materials, providing it a really beautiful look

Animals such as river otters, bears, panthers, and deer may also be seen in their natural wildlife habitats.

To complement the nature experience, a nature museum is available so that visitors can browse through the natural history of the site and watch original movies about the mountain.
