The Greensboro Opera Company is best known for its opera productions that successfully blend outside and local singers with the Greensboro Symphony, a full orchestra. Through the years of its existence, it has already staged large productions like Verdi?s La Traviata, Madame Butterfly, Lucia di Lammermoor, Don Giovanni, Tales of Hoffmann, Faust, The Magic Flute, La Boheme, Aida, and Carmen just to name a few.

The Greensboro Opera Company also takes part in educational programs with the Guilford County Schools. They educate young kids about opera and operetta.
