The Harvey B. Gantt Center is a cultural center in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is focused on preserving the heritage and history of the city of Charlotte.

The Harvey B. Gantt Center was established in 1974 as the Afro-American Cultural Center. It was created by a group of academics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte who felt it necessary to take measures in preserving the local history. They established the center which was renamed in 2009 after the well respected businessman and community leader, Harvey B. Gantt.

The Harvey B. Gantt Center features a wide range of displays depicting different fields of interest in local history. There’s art and other things that’ll surely shed some light on visitors knowledge about the city of Charlotte.
