The Haywood Hall House and Gardens is a historic house and venue in Raleigh, North Carolina. The site traces its history back to 1799, when the house was built by John Haywood, the state?s first elected treasurer. It was constructed as a result of Haywood?s election, which required him to live at the state capital.

The Federal style Haywood Hall House and Gardens served as the residence of the Haywood family for a very long time. From its completion up until to 1977, the property was owned by the family. Considered as the oldest home within the original city limits of Raleigh, this historic site is truly something worth of note.

Today, the Haywood Hall House and Gardens is open to the public as a historic house museum and events venue.
