Horn in the West is a famous outdoor drama in Boone, North Carolina. It is an annual production held in the summer which stages the ?Horn in the West?, a drama written by Kermit Hunter about the American Revolutionary War. The story is about the family of Dr. Geoffrey Stuart, a British loyalist, who had to leave their home due to the stressful events.

Held yearly at the Daniel Boone Ampitheatre since 1952, the Horn in the West production is a really big event in the area. It is actually the oldest revolutionary war drama in the United States and people from all over the country come to see it.

The Horn in the West is produced by the Southern Appalachian Historical Association.
