The Jordan Lake State Recreation Area is a state park in Apex, North Carolina that covers 46,768 acres worth of land and water area. It is best known among fishing enthusiasts, what with its more than 13,000 acres worth of water area.
The Jordan Lake State Recreation Area is composed of five major recreation sites. They have the Poplar Point, New Hope Overlook, Parkers Creek, Vista Point, and Crosswinds as the ones with campgrounds. There are several other areas in the massive state park like the Ebenezer Church, White Oak, Parkers Creek, Seaforth, Vista Point, and Farrington Point among others. Swimming, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, picnicking, camping, and birdwatching are available on the site with ample amenities and facilities to support such activities.
