Kids@Play is the new name of the local kids? museum in Statesville, North Carolina. Originally known as the Children?s Museum of Iredell County, this museum designed and created for young folks was established in 1980 and continuously grew. It moved a couple of times in the past, and was finally renamed in 2009 after extensive renovations and changes.

The Kids@Play venue features a lot of things and activities for kids to enjoy and learn from. Like many other children?s museums, it offers a wide range of hands-on displays and activities that fosters and promotes its visitors awareness, creativity, and love of learning. It has sections featuring various subjects, like science, reading, and the arts. Kids can also dress up and do some role playing with the other kids, which is designed to engage them in some social interaction.
