The Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum is a multipurpose arena in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is also known as the Joel Coliseum, The Joel, or the LJVM Coliseum. It was built as a replacement to the old Winston-Salem Memorial Coliseum, which was also once located on the same site.

Completed and opened in 1989, the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum was named after the Medal of Honor awardee, Lawrence Joel, an Army medic and Winston-Salem native who was recognized for his service during the Vietnam War. It also has a memorial for Joel and other veterans, designed by James Ford in New York.

The Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum is home to the Wake Forest University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.
