The Maguire Theatre is a performance venue in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It has always been a part of the historic Lowry-Chesson building and was recently restored when the site was reopened as a cultural and arts center.

The Maguire Theatre is a 250-seater performance space. It is home to the AOA’s Center Players and the Encore Theatre. It hosts different kinds of live performances on a regular basis, which range from musical concerts to stage plays. The site also hosts cabaret type events and even private receptions.

Being home to a few clubs and organizations, the Maguire Theatre also offers educational programs and services. They have classes and workshops for kids, mostly. Scholarships for such programs are also available.
