The Meroney Theatre is a historic venue in Salisbury, North Carolina. It was built in 1906 as a playhouse. It is currently known as the home of the Piedmont Players Theatre, a local theatre group.

The Meroney Theatre has always been an entertainment venue in Salisbury. It was used as a playhouse for quite a long time, and then was turned into a movie house around the 1950s. It continued as such until the 1980s and 1990s when it was used for other purposes and was closed down. It was renovated, however, recently, and restored to its early 1900s state.

The 361-seater Meroney Theatre operates today as a performing arts house. It stages regular shows and productions that are usually starred by community members.
