The Mordecai Historic Park would let you step right back into the past during the period of 19th century. It is situated in the old town part of Raleigh. Inside the park is where you can find the Mordecai House which is the former seat of the plantations of the Wake County and also serves as home to a total of five generations of the prominent family.

Within the site is where you can also find Andrew Johnson?s birthplace, the law office of Badger-Iredell along with the St. Mark?s Chapel. You can conveniently visit and tour around the park if you would choose to ride its offering of the Historic Raleigh Trolley Tour. It has dedicated stops on each part of the park.
