The Museum of North Carolina Minerals is a science museum in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. It is focused on the rich mineral resources of the state of North Carolina, featuring the different kinds of stones, gems, and minerals that can be found in the state.

Created in 1956 as a joint effort by the North Carolina Department of Conservation and Development and the National Park Service, the Museum of North Carolina Minerals has been recently renovated in 2002. They expanded the site with the hopes of furthering the goals of teaching the local students about the Earth Sciences. With the use of their numerous exhibits, the venue may just actually reach this goal soon enough.
