The Museum of Old Domestic Life is a very interesting site, especially with its close relations with the region’s Quaker history. Situated in a 1858 Quaker meeting house, the museum is a great way to learn more about the group’s history and the old way of life. It features a number of artifacts gathered and collected from colonial Quaker homesteads, photographs, portraits, and even household items. There are also displays that show of shoe making, farming, and cloth making. There’s also a herbarium with local specimens.
