The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival is a theatre production company in High Point, North Carolina. It is established as a small, resident professional theatre company that is best known for staging classic performances.

The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival was established in 1977 by Mark Woods and Stuart Brooks. They aimed to educate, entertain, and enrich the NC Students and citizens in terms of the dramatic arts by only staging high quality productions of the greatest plays. They have various programs and performance seasons, which is a very interesting thing to learn more about. Due to its great achievements, the state has designated the company as “The State Shakespeare Festival”.

Aside from their regular performances, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival also launches and hosts workshops and other educational programs.
