The Orange County Historical Museum is a local history museum in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The museum is housed in the site where the state?s 1789 Constitutional Convention took place, adding a little bit more history to the attraction.

The Orange County Historical Museum chronicles the rich history and heritage of the Orange County. It is the proud home to the United States? only complete set of Colonial weights and measures. Aside from that, they also have on display are a series of portraits of local prominent figures, memorabilia from the different periods of history, and a good deal of information about the pre-settlement days. They also have changing displays.

The Orange County Historical Museum is open year round on varying schedules. Admission is free.
