The Owen Theatre is one of the beautiful structures inside the Mars Hill College, in Mars Hill, North Carolina. It is most noted for being the home of the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, noted for being an award winning theatre group in the country.

The Owen Theatre traces its roots back to 1887 as a wooden structure that served as a sanctuary of the Mars Hill Baptist Church. By 1907, the original building was replaced with a brick structure. It continued to be a sanctuary until it was sold to the Mars Hill College in 1953, who turned it into a theatre. It staged its first performance in 1966.

Named after Jesse Ray Owen, a former pastor of Mars Hill Baptist Church, the Owen Theatre is now the home of many productions staged by the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre. It is handicapped accessible.
