The Peacock Playhouse is a community theatre in Hayesville, North Carolina. It is home to the volunteer group known as the Licklog Players who stage shows at the venue all year round. It is also home to the Peacock Pride, a local children’s theatre group.
The Peacock Playhouse has been around for around thirty years now. It has been established with the great help of the local Lilith Lidseen who served as a major benefactor to the site. Being someone who is formally trained in the dramatic arts, Lidseen built the playhouse through the resources of the Lidseen Foundation. They named it after the exotic and colorful bird that she adores.
The Peacock Playhouse stages performances and other events year round. You can check with their website about updates and such.
