The Performing Arts Center at Shelton House is a community theater venue in Waynesville, North Carolina. It is best known as the home of the Haywood County?s award winning Haywood Arts Regional Theatre.

The Performing Arts Center at Shelton House, is one of the most active theatres in the Southeast. It produces plays and productions all year round. It was opened in 1997; it was designed after the Summer Stock playhouses that became big during the 1920s.

The Performing Arts C enter at Shelton House is composed of a series of smaller venues. The HART uses the 255-seater James Auditorium as its main stage. They stage shows regularly there during the months of April through November, and then uses the 75 Feichter studio in the winter.
