The Person County Museum of History is a local history museum in Roxboro, North Carolina. Housed in the former residence of W. W. Kitchin, also known as North Carolina’s Governor from 1809 to 1813, the museum provides visitors a good look at the local past events that have helped shape the area.

More of a historic complex, the Person County Museum of History actually has a series of historic structures to house its collections. Present are the Kitchin main home, the Van Hook Subscription School, Dr. John H. Merritt’s Office, the Woodsdale General Store, and a tobacco barn. There are different displays and exhibits about various things like a display of 250 dolls and a replica of Enos Slaughter, a Baseball Hall of Famer.
