Founded in 1887, the Pullen Park is a public park in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is located adjacent to the North Carolina State University campus is best known for its scenic surroundings. It was named after Richard Stanhope Pullen who donated the land to the city so it can be used as a recreational space.

The Pullen Park boasts of a series of attractions and features that are truly worth noting. Aside from the regular picnic areas, picturesque paths and bridges, and playgrounds, the park also has an Aquatic Center, tennis courts, ball fields, and a lake (which is also comes with paddle boat rentals). It is also home to the

Pullen Arts Center and the famous Ira David Wood III Pullen Park Theatre (formerly known as the Theatre in the Park).
