The Richard Petty Museum is an auto and biographical museum in Randleman, North Carolina. It tells of the life of the great racing legend, Richard Petty.

Dubbed as “The King” with his 7-time NASCAR Championship and a record 200 races win among other accomplishments throughout his career, Richard Petty is a real big name in the racing industry. The museum was opened in 1988 and displays not only his racing memorabilia, but also a great number of other personal collection from him and his wife, Lynda. On display are cars, trophies, awards, guns, pocket watches, and even dolls. Kids can also enjoy a series of specially designed activities for young folks on the site.

The Richard Petty Museum is open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
