The Roanoke Adventure Museum is one of the two museums in the Roanoke Island Festival Park. It is one of the top attractions this famous park has to offer, providing a great source of information and entertainment to its visitors.

The Roanoke Adventure Museum is mostly a historical museum featuring the colonial settlement of the 16th century. Visitors are allowed to find their way through the venue, as self guided tours are mostly the thing. Children can play dress up according to the fashions of the colonial times. They can also play with most of the items on site, like the small fishing boat equipped fake fish and a measuring device commonly used back in the days.

The Roanoke Adventure Museum is open from March to December.
