The Spirit Center is a new performance facility in High Point, North Carolina. It is the new home of the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival in replacement of the High Point Theatre.

The Spirit Center is actually the NC Shakespeare Festival’s project in aims of expanding their outreach and programming. The site, a two-building performing arts campus composed of 51,000 square feet, would provide ample space to a wide variety of activities and educational programs that the organization aims to provide and sponsor. It is composed of the Production Palace, which will be used for the Renaissance Learning center, rehearsal halls, and costume, scene, and properties shop. The other building, known as the Outreach Place will house the offices. It is still an ongoing project but a bright future is definitely waiting for it.
