The Stanley County Museum houses a permanent exhibit that features over a hundred historic artifacts that help retrace the 10 thousand-story of Stanly County.

The Stanly County Museum is a reflection of Stanly County’s richness in history. Its people helped mold and define the cultural landscape, not only of the county, but of the state and the nation as well. The citizens give so much value to their county’s history that they have worked together to push the establishment of the museum in order to protect and safeguard the objects and pieces that have been important to its heritage. The Museum houses a unique collection of artifacts that cover Native American art and pottery as well as restored pioneer homes.
