The Lost Colony is an outdoor drama in Manteo, North Carolina best noted as the country?s #1 outdoor theater. It stages the Pulitzer Prize winning piece of the same title by playwright Paul Green.

The Lost Colony tells of the early years of the United States? colonization. According to history, the first colony that was founded on the Roanoke Island after the leadership of Sir Walter Raleigh just disappeared when supplies from the Great Britain didn?t come in 1587. The drama tells of what happened to the 117 colony members.
