Uwharrie National Forest is a place to enjoy various out door activities!

Trails and campgrounds:
Uwharrie has a variety of seperate trails and camping grounds. Trails for horseback riding, hiking, biking, 4WD*, and hunting.

Lake Badin:
Located on the brim of the Park, Lake Badin has docking for a variety of boats.

Shooting Range:
Within the forest there is a stretch of land for shooting. They have a range for rifles and a range for pistols.*

Eldorado Outpost:
A place to grab a bite to eat, get gas, ammo, camping gear, fish gear, boating gear and a variety of other things. Public Restrooms.

*They offer passes for the 4WD park and the shooting range.

Uwharrie Stables:
They offer Horseback Riding Lessons and Horseback trail riding. Rentals for ATVs, boats, jet skis, and canoes. Contact them for reservations and prices.

They offer events such as derbies and mud racing.
