The Wilson Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden located in Wilson, North Carolina. It is situated by the Wilson County Agricultural Building.
Designed to show people what kinds of plant material are available for home gardens and landscaping, the Wilson Botanical Gardens was established in 1997 by the Wilson County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. Its primary aim is to educate folks more than anything, as well as entertain visitors. They offer a wide variety of plant life, including an arboretum, native garden, and a greenhouse among others. They also have a bird and butterfly gardens.
Like many other gardens in the country, the Wilson Botanical Gardens is a work in progress. It aims to fill all six acres worth of land area.
