The Zebulon Vance House and Museum is a historic house museum in Statesville, North Carolina. It tells of the life of Zebulon Vance, North Carolina?s governor during the Civil War.

Also known as the Zebulon House and Civil War Museum, the Zebulon Vance House and Museum is a rather celebrated site in the area. Although, it wasn?t exactly a house built for Vance and his family, it served as a temporary home for them during the stressful times of 1865, just around the time when the Civil War was about to end.

Today, this antebellum house serves as a museum chronicling the colorful past of the south and the related events and people to the property. It presents a number of items used by the Vance family, as well as a number of firsts for the city of Statesville.
