Opened in 1985 as a joint project of the Fargo Park District and the junior League of Fargo/Moorhead, the Children’s Museum at Yunker Farm was designed to become a special venue for families. It is in the 1876 house originally owned by Newton Whitman, which was also the very first brick house in all of Dakota, and sold to the Yunker family in the early 1900s.

The Children’s Museum at Yunker Farm features a wide array of different attractions and activities that are designed to educate, engage, and help kids develop their creativity. There are also various exhibits where both parents and children can enjoy.

The best thing about the Children’s Museum at Yunker Farm is that it has a very home-like atmosphere, putting the kids at ease and allowing them to express themselves more freely.
