Enchanted Highway was started in the 1990s by the retired school teacher, metal sculptor, and Regent local, Gary Greff to revive the town from dying. It is the world?s largest collection of sculptures made from scrap metal. The original plan for the whole project is composed of ten sculptures. Today, there are already seven finished and on display.. They are called The Tin Family, Teddy Rides Again, Pheasants on the Prairie, Grasshoppers in the Field, Geese in Flight, and Fisherman?s Dream. The artist is currently working on the one called Spider Webs.

The town of Regent is also known as a pheasant hunting area aside from these huge sculptures. Other wild game are also present, so people can visit the area for other activities aside from viewing the Enchanted Highway.

Souvenirs can also be bought from the Enchanted Highway gift shop located near the sculptures.
