The Theodore Roosevelt National Park allows its guests to explore the terrain, badlands, and wildlife that helped shape the adult life of Theodore Roosevelt, the President who is also known as the world’s leading land conservationist.

The Badlands Adventure offers its rugged, outdoor experience that molded the man’s philosophy on the conservation of natural resources. The Great Plains Wildlife is where one can find the numerous watchable wildlife species that inhabit the park. These include prairie dogs, elks, white-tail and mule deer, golden eagles, pronghorns, and feral horses. The Scenic Wonders area showcases the geologic formations of the park, including the “Grim Fairyland.”

The park is able to give its visitors a wide grasp of knowledge on the significant people that have contributed to the park’s history, historic sites within the park, personal possessions of Theodore Roosevelt, and stories about the life and times of this remarkable man.
