The Blossom Music Center is a fine-looking amphitheatre in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio that serves as the summer center of the Cleveland Orchestra and a venue for various events and concerts. It is a modern amphitheatre like no other because of its natural woodland setting within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and its distinct slate oblique roof. The architectural design was created by Peter Van Dijk and the center was named after Dudley S. Blossom who was the president of the Cleveland Orchestra in1936-1938. The Blossom Music Center can accommodate 5,000 people inside and an estimated 13,000 on the outdoor lawn area. Aside from musical events, visitors can also take time to visit the Center?s art gallery, restaurants, gift shops or rent the private party area.
