The Harding Home and Museum was the ancestral residence of Warren G. Harding, who became the U.S. President in 1920. Among other things, the president was quite famous for his ?front porch? campaigns, which he had actually conducted straight from this Victorian estate. Completed in 1891, the Harding Home and Museum is wonderfully intact and showcases almost the entire set of original furnishing that President Harding and his spouse Florence had used in their lifetime. Also available at the site are a library which had undergone a complete renovation in 2005 as well as a museum housed in what used to be the press house for the president?s campaign.

Owned and operated by the Ohio Historical Society, the museum is unfortunately not handicapped accessible and as such, interested groups with handicapped members are invited to schedule an appointment prior to making any reservations for tours. Discounted rates are offered for groups with at least 20 members. Special programs are also available for large group tours that can include food and refreshments at the end of the visit.
