A day would barely be enough to fully explore the attractions offered at the Malabar Farm State Park. Outdoors, visitors would be able to view crops and livestock and learn how farms operate. For naturalists, there is much of the wildlife to explore and numerous other educational exhibits focusing on the state?s ecology and natural habitats.
For history buffs, the state park is home to various cultural and historical landmarks and there are always re-enactment presentations going on throughout the day.
Other cultural and trade activities include demonstrations, presentations, and exhibits focusing on bee hives, gardening, spinning and weaving, maple syrup production, and wind & solar energy production.
Sports, outdoor, and recreational activities offered at the Malabar Farm include cross country skiing and hiking, horseback riding and hayrides, fishing, camping, and even square dancing. For those interested in experiencing life in the farm, visitors may also participate in various farm chores, which include feeding livestock, collecting eggs, and even feeding and digging for worms.
