The Mount Airy Dog Park is a park open for dogs that measure two acres and allows them to roam without the leash. The place is fenced safely and it has a sufficient supply of benches, several poop bags, tables, trees, a lot of parking spaces, restrooms for convenience of visitors, enough water for the dogs, some shelter for shade and it is very accessible even to the handicapped. It is open 24 hours everyday. It was built successfully due to a grant that amounted about $7,500 from the charities of PetSmart of the organization of the Cincinnati Parks.

The rules for usage in the park are posted clearly within the vicinity. The dogs are allowed to be leash free for as long as the guardians or the owners are always standing by their dogs. The visitors though are suggested to carry with them their own poop bags even if there is supply in the park. They want to make sure that the park is kept clean at all times.
