The Newport Aquarium, located at Kentucky and part of Cincinnati USA, features 70 exhibits and 40 galleries of sea creatures living in a natural-like habitat. It includes five acrylic-made tunnels, each of which is 200 feet long. The aquarium is accredited by Associations of Zoos and Aquariums, a known wildlife conservation group. Two of the most rare shark rays can be found in Newport Aquarium. These are named ?Scooter? and ?Sweet Pea? which are considered as the only breeding pair of shark rays being exhibited in the world.

One of the most popular attractions in Newport Aquarium is the Ohio River. It is a tank version of Ohio River wherein specifies of fish found in Ohio, Amazon, and Mississippi Rivers are featured. It also includes a number of alligators to complete a natural habitat of the river.

The Dangerous and Deadly exhibits includes sea monsters like lion fish, gila monster, electric eel, redeye piranha, tentacled snake, whitespotted bamboo shark, and water moccasin. On the other hand, the Bizarre and Beautiful exhibit displays sea animals like Giant Pacific octopus, seahorse, Japanese spider crab, elephant-nose fish, lumpsucker, porcupine fish, and garden eel.

Other exhibits of the aquarium are Turtle Town, Coral Reef, Gator Bayou, Shark Central, Surrounded by Sharks, Kroger Penguin Palooza, Rain Forest, and Jellyfish Exhibit. The aquarium?s jellyfish gallery is considered as the largest gallery in South America. The gallery features also an aviary portion where different species of birds can be fed by the visitors and a frog bog playground where different kinds of frogs can be seen.
