The Temple of Tolerance can be considered as a backyard shrine, created by Jim Bowsher in his residence in Wapakoneta, Ohio. It is composed of big rocks that are arranged in a specific way to resemble an actual temple.
The Temple of Tolerance is no small area. It is actually a complex that is hidden behind a regular house that is also a spectacle to see. The residential building is actually Bowsher?s, and is also filled with artifacts from all over the United States. Included in the complex of the Temple of Tolerance are the following: a Vietnam War memorial, a stage for performances, and other items from different parts of the world.
According to the owner and creator, the Temple of Tolerance was made as a reminder for people to always have compassion for others.
