The Westcott House Springfield Ohio is considered by many as the most important architectural work in modern times. Famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed the plans for the Westcott House in 1906 and construction had been completed in 1908.

Although not the most popular of all structures designed by Wright, Westcott House Springfield had steadily gained fame especially since restoration work had been completed. In the 1940?s, Westcott House had undergone drastic changes in its interior and temporarily became the virtual antithesis of Wright?s original plans for the house.

Thankfully, with the help of various organizations such as the Westcott House Foundation and professionals in restoration work such as Ohio?s very own Chambers, Murphy & Burge ? the team behind the restoration of Dana Thomas House (also of Wright) ? had succeeded in bringing the home back to its former glory.
